This is a Siren’s Song
Tales of the other side
Often these captivating creatures that lure us to the depths of our far out to sea imagination get a bad rep for bringing death to whoever finds themselves in the trance of a Siren. As I have always pondered on Medusa and Lilith’s pain I too have come to extending empathy to a muse , siren , succubus and even throw in a banshee. As we have all experienced pain we understand it is a powerful emotion that can turn love into ash instantly.
As I’ve come to understand it’s just like The Beatles said … “All You Need Is Love.” So I find myself trying to sleep and find myself calling a name over the ocean like I had a specific tone to call him in. It’s ethereal , euphoric , stellar if I may.
But as i put myself in her body in those waters , how must it feel to drown in so much need for love that your voice sings a sweet song so captivating it could then drag a man to the depths of the deep blue and possible Davey Jones Locker.
What melody from the divine seeps from the core of a siren … what does it feel like to want to be loved so bad … swimming in an ocean of constant stifled love … truly drowning … every story you hear she drags him down to the depths …

here is what started writing itself in my head as I tried to sleep. I watched the story unfold like a sweet little dream time movie I was front row for.
